As an Information Security Analyst at Teal, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving our security posture. You will work closely with our IT and development teams to identify vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and implement best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various systems and tools.

• Identify, investigate, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

• Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Collaborate with IT and development teams to secure system architectures.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

• Prepare and deliver reports on security incidents and risks to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years of experience in information security or a related role.

• Strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
